    Just heard that they are planning Skylon flight tests in Colerado for 2019… and even better, cargo flights for 2022…

    … and as far as I’m aware I’m the first person to have a science fiction story published that includes a Skylon with a ‘fly on part’! Purr….

    Have you seen the latest about Skylon? The BBC News website had a very interesting and detailed article by Jonathan Amos today, saying that ESA are putting 1 million euros into a detailed evaluation of the economic and technical issues. It’s at http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-23590080 . Looks promising to me.
