Edited by Dev Agarwal, Focus is the BSFA's magazine for writers. It is packed with articles, advice, recommendations, and reflections on the creative process of writing SFF and also on writing as a business.

Focus is published once or twice a year, and is always open to pitches and submissions. Contributors are advised to familiarise themselves with the content and style of the magazine before submitting. Possible topics and themes include (but are not limited to):
