Edge-Lit makes it a dozen with its return in 2026, once again serving up a wide array of interviews, talks, workshops and more for lovers of genre fiction. Edge-Lit will be serving up information and inspiration to help writers along, insight for readers into how authors go about developing their work and plenty of opportunity to socialise with fellow fans of horror, fantasy and science-fiction!

PictCon is a small science fiction and fantasy convention, run by volunteers, for people who want to talk about science fiction and fantasy.

There will be panels, interviews, workshops, book and crafts dealers, RPGs – all with a Scottish flavour.

Scottish fans, authors, and publishing industry professionals discuss genre books, folklore and myth, science and society, and how these feed back into our favourite fiction!

Israeli novelist, Yoav Avni's speculative time-travel novel Time Clocks is being published in English by Roundfire Books at the end of September. On 20 October they will be appearing with British novelist Jack Davies at Owl Bookshop in Kentish Town for an evening about fiction, time, secrets and storytelling.

BristolCon is a science fiction and fantasy convention organized by the BristolCon Committee. The primary aim of the event is to support the Science Fiction and Fantasy community within the South West of the United Kingdom, and to promote the works of Science Fiction and Fantasy authors, artists, businesses, and performers within the United Kingdom and further afield.

Each year we feature panel discussions and lectures, an art show, and small group sessions including table talks and workshops. Books, comics and merchandise are available in the dealers’ room and authors will be available for book signings.
