The results are in, all nominations have been counted and we have great pleasure in announcing the BSFA Award Shortlist.
Congratulations to all the nominees! Note that there are only four nominees in the Best Novel category, and six nominees in the Best Short Fiction and Best Artwork categories due to ties for fifth place. The Awards will be presented at this year’s Eastercon, Odyssey .

Please remember, if sending me your votes, to include the following: your BSFA membership number OR your Eastercon badge number for this year. If you are a BSFA member who cannot remember your membership number, please contact me in advance of the deadline for assistance. If we are unable to verify your voting eligibility, we will not be able to count your vote.
How to vote: Mark your choices in each category in order of preference: ‘1’ for first place, ‘2’ for second place, and so on. You are not required to rank all the nominees in any category; if you decide not to vote in a given category, leave it blank.
Those attending Eastercon, Odyssey 2010 at the Radisson Edwardian, Heathrow from 2nd-5th April will also be able to vote on the shortlist at the convention where forms will also be available. Votes will close at 11 am on Sunday, April 4th. The winners will be announced at a ceremony in the main hall at 6pm, and will be followed by a reception hosted by the BSFA. All attending the convention are welcome to attend the ceremony, which will begin with a presentation from Ian Watson and Paul Cornell.
Congratulations to everyone who made the shortlist, and thank you to all BSFA members who voted and contributed to the awards discussion. I received sackfuls of nominations and it has clearly been a fantastic year for all things SF.
