I was sure I'd seen paperbacks of The Carhullan Army in Borders -- but maybe I'm misremembering.

Liz, there are copies on Amazon Marketplace for 2.76 including p&p, which is how I got mine. The other three I'm getting through the local library for the princely sum of 75p.

Yeah but that's hardback. Makes for tougher tube reading.I'm still reading Bones of the Earth but I'm finding reading a small paperback so much more pleasant that I've decided that I'm willing to pay a premium for it.Having said that, the blurb on Amazon sounds terrifying, I'm sure it's better in real life.
