A few weeks ago an SF novel (Winter Song by Colin Harvey) dropped through my letterbox. I was surprised, because I certainly hadn't ordered it, but formed the impression that it came from the BSFA (perhaps from the envelope, now discarded). However, I can't find any reference to it on the BSFA site. Was it sent out by the BSFA or do I have an unknown benefactor?
